Professional Practise: Tricky Applications

Today was our final professional practise lecture of the year and was with textiles lecturer Sally Grant and Es George from the Careers hub, giving us advice on how to tackle tricky application forms and things to be aware off throughout the application process.

One of the key points that I picked up throughout the lecture, was the importance of stating the obvious as the employer / person in HR reading through the applications doesn’t know you or may not be creative so it’s even more vital to state skills and accomplishments in a obvious way.
